Join The NYPSC

The New York Product Stewardship Council is a unique multi-stakeholder group primarily representing New York local government with active representatives from business, NY state agencies, recyclers, non-profits, and the environmental community. The Council works to support sound product stewardship policies in order to reduce public costs and drive improvements in product and packaging design that promote environmental sustainability.

Benefits of Membership

• Learn more about product stewardship/ Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) via our e-newsletter, webinars and listserv.
• Be informed on proposed New York State legislation and existing laws.
• Learn about new legislation, policies and regulations that will affect your organization or business.
• Notification of all NYPSC events and workshops.
• Opportunities to network with recycling and solid waste officials, NGOs, businesses and national advocates knowledgeable on product stewardship.
• Local Government Members become eligible to serve on the NYPSC Steering Committee when there is a vacancy.

 Membership Categories

Government Member--$250
Includes NY state and local government representatives from NY cities, counties, towns, villages, solid waste authorities or districts, alliances and other local government bodies, and state agencies. Government Membership covers 2 individuals per agency; additional individuals, add $50 each.

Individual Member--$50
Includes individuals and non-governmental organizations.

Business Member--$150

NYPSC Partner
Includes individuals, businesses, organizations or government bodies that support NYPSC activities and projects with an annual contribution of $1,000 or more. A Partner contributing $10,000 or more annually will be designated as a Platinum Partner; $5,000 to $9,999 as a Gold Partner; $1,000 to $4,999 as a Silver Partner.
